Art therapy is an effective treatment to foster self-awareness and reconcile emotional conflict through verbal and non-verbal expression and art experiences. Art therapy provides children, teens, and adults, who specifcially want to work with an art therapist, the opportunity to use art, their first language, when words are not enough. Art therapy provides mental health services for children, teens and adults and children with autism and other developmental disorders.
